Tonight we kick off our 22nd season, “We Are Family” as the All America City of Owensboro brings V-Groove 70’s 80’s show band to the Jagoe Homes patio stage on the BB&T Plaza at the RiverPark Center, 6:30-10:00.  Andy Brasher playing acoustic 7pm-10pm is in the Atmos Energy Courtyard. Quiet Hollers indie/Americana rocks the Legendary Party at the Pier at the Convention Center 8pm-11:30pm also you will find dancers from Joy Johnson’s studio and Dr. Moody Band playing rock n roll on the AT&T “Your Thing  Overlook Stage starting from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.  It’s a non-profit block party at the Kroger street fair. Friday After 5 is Where the Weekend Begins.

We’ll have “Princess  Poppi” tonight courtesy of TD’s Tuff Decisions Costumes plus free balloon animals and popcorn for the kids.  Get into the fun with our Free Friday After 5 Foto Booth for everyone! The US Bank Home Mortgage T-shirt cannon will be sending special T-Shirts into the crowd! If you are planning a class reunion this summer, let us be your “opening act.”  We can host all of your classmates on Friday evening and call it a ”PreUnion“.  We provide a “pre-registration” table and chairs, a great band, and a beautiful venue overlooking the Ohio river. You can host your “PreUnion” at  RiverPark Center or Owensboro Convention Center.
