Friday After 5 Welcomes Class Pre-Unions, Food trucks and Interns
Friday After 5, the popular 16-week summer festival with free music on four to five stages each Friday night, will announce its 2019 lineup on April 17th.
It’s time for high school and college reunions to start signing up for “PreUnions” at the event that draws thousands of people to the riverfront each weekend during the summer.
The 23rd annual event starts May 17 and runs through Aug. 30.
It’s also time for college students to start signing up for internships that qualify for credit. Last year Friday After 5 reached out to college students who were looking for a summer internship.It’s good for people in marketing and event planning. Street vendors can start signing up for space.
PreUnions are scheduled at Friday After 5 on the nights before the reunions on Saturday at no charge.

Last year, Friday After 5 estimated that slightly more than 67,500 attended the summer-long event.
